Since 1899, the MUTTI family has dedicated itself with passion and pride to the refinement of a single fruit: the tomato. In the heart of the fertile Emilia-Romagna region, near Parma, MUTTI has for over a century combined Italian tradition, innovation and uncompromising quality.
What began as a family business is today an internationally recognised company – guided by a deeply rooted philosophy: using only Italian tomatoes, processed under the strictest controls throughout the entire value chain. From the careful selection of suitable varieties, through the monitoring of the cultivation areas, to harvesting, processing and packaging – every stage is driven by the commitment to preserve the tomato in its finest form.

The company invented tomato puree in a tube and set new standards again with the introduction of finely chopped tomatoes. MUTTI was the very first company ever to receive the “Produzione integrata certificata” seal for its entire production – a quality mark for sustainable, integrated cultivation.
But MUTTI looks further: in collaboration with WWF Italy, all production processes are also evaluated from an ecological perspective – with the aim of continuously monitoring and reducing the CO₂ and water footprint.
With the new pasta sauces and pestos, MUTTI offers greater convenience for the modern kitchen. They are made from 100% Italian tomatoes, the finest ingredient from the best regions of Italy and are free from additives and added sugar.
